The summit of one goal is the start of another
This then directly relates to our philosophy of “What do you want to achieve from our treatment?” These two questions are interlinked and provide us with some really useful information that can help us direct and focus the treatment, restrengthening and training we prescribe during our consultations to get the maximum benefit for your individual and unique needs.
This is why Sam and I love our job so much. Each and every person has different end goals that they want to achieve. Our first introduction is often due to the presence of acute pain, however moving forward from that point in time we want to empower you to be more self sufficient, more educated and more in control of your ongoing health.
Having upcoming challenges and goals is a fantastic way to focus the mind and strengthen the resolve to improve. There is nothing like a deadline to really help motivate, to get you out of bed on those cold mornings or to push you that little bit harder in your training. These challenges do not have to be major physical feats, they can be simple things that you do every day that you would like to be able to do better, or they can be large aspirations like running a marathon or completing an Ironman.
Your goals large or small are what drives us and we love hearing about your journey to success. So while there is often a causative factor that has lead you to seek an appointment with us, please share with us your longer term aspirations as we want to be a part of your achievements.
